According to a table published in the Chronicle of Higher Education, the average full professor at Dartmouth earns just over $61,000 the lowest average salary in the Ivy League. Harvard profs, with salaries averaging about $79,000, are tops in the Ancient Eight. Yale is next at $72,800, followed by Princeton ($71,400), Columbia, ($68,300), Brown ($64,000) and Cornell ($62,800). This gap still exists despite attempts by the College to bring Dartmouth salaries in line with the other Ivies.
