It is with mixed feelings that I hand over the role of Class Secretary, effective with the winter column. On the one hand it can be frustrating to scratch up news when the pipeline dries up, but it has been a pleasure to hear from so many of our classmates. My travel schedule simply makes it too difficult to keep up with the almost monthly deadlines. Dick McDonough has arranged for Dwight Ketcham to succeed me. And to make sure that Dwight doesn't start off with an empty basket, I am passing along some material thoughtfully forwarded by HerbRoth relating to the career of Si Grolnick, who passed away recently of a melanoma.

According to Dick McDonough, things are beginning to gel for the organization of our fortieth reunion in June, 1992. Steve Mandel has agreed to serve as reunion giving chairman, and yours truly will be the treasurer. Dick hopes to announce the Reunion President shortly.
