It is that time of the year again, when the leaves are falling, the Red Sox have fallen, and the New England Patriots are floun dering. At least the Big Green football program appears to be headed in the opposite direction. We need a little good press after the latest Dartmouth Review episode.
Also headed in the right direction is DaveArmstrong, who was recently named to senior vice president of corporate affairs, general counsel and secretary, for Midway Airlines. At last report, Dave and his wife, Muriel, were living in suburban Chicago.

Brian has been on the group's board of trustees since 1985 and has held a number of appointive positions. Brian and his wife, Lise, live in Rye, N.H., where he has been active in both the community and his profession. He is a past president of the New England Council of Optometrists and the Portsmouth Lions Club, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. I only wish Brian had been more active with the umpires during the American League playoffs.
education by the GOP in the last two years. I hope there is a new-found interest."
Finally, I have news of Doug Killebrew, whose daughter Heather '89 edits these notes and was most amused at my threatening to sic her recalcitrant father on his recalcitrant classmates. She informs me that Doug is president of his own company, Enercorp Inc., in St. Louis. The company specializes in the design and manufacture of heat recovery boilers and systems for various industrial and institutional applications. Doug has four children, aged 11 to 23. Heather writes, "Dad has become a computerophile and keeps up with the latest technology at Macintosh user group meetings. He also likes to go ice-skating with my brother on Fridays."
