T'was raining in Hanover, and the Zlok was sidelined temporarily in Brooklyn, but Homecoming took place anyway. Dartmouth walloped Yale 27-17, and the '63s launched plans for what will prove to be a monumental occasion: a communal 50th birthday party for each and everyone of us who wishes to partake. We hope it will include many of us. Bruce Baggaley andJohn Lehman want you to call or write them as soon as possible with your interest and ideas as to how and where to celebrate over a two- or three-day weekend next May or June. Suggestions at the board meeting in Hanover included cruising the Mississippi on the Delta Queen or to the Caribbean on the Carnival Line, and a fun-and sun time at a resort in Maryland. So tell Bruce and John what you think. Bruce is at 12 Salt Box Lane, Darien, CT 06820, (H) 203/655-0079, (W) 203/536-3536; John is at Box 508, Riverside, CT 06878, (H) 203/637-4226, (W) 203/637-9164.

Rick Braddock, Bob Baker, and MartyBowne led the discussion at the board meeting. Baker was able to combine the trip with a visit to his chemical firm's office in Albany, N.H. Marty and wife Lenore stayed at Trumbull House on Wheelock Street, their favorite Bed 'n Breakfast, from which jogging and shopping could be easily enjoyed. At the bonfire the Bownes ran into Pete and Jill Cornish and seven-year-old Gregory, and enjoyed rum and cider at Molly's Balloon with Jim and Heidi Clouser. Marty Bowne's son Jeffrey is following his parents' footsteps to an extent, as a consultant with Arthur Anderson in Chicago. Marty is in mergers and acquisitions in New York with Ernst & Young (formerly Arthur Young), and Lenore consults on pensions with Bellcore in New Jersey. Daughter Jennifer studies at Farleigh Dickinson University.

Bruce and Patty Baggaley made it over to Kimball Union to visit younger son Kevin. Brent is a student at Bates College in Maine. The Baggaleys caught up with Ken Kvistad, formerly of Geneva, Switzerland, and Ernie Torres at the '63 post-game cocktail party at Thayer Hall. Ken is in business in Massachusetts but is studying part-time for the ministry. Ernie is a federal judge in Rhode Island.

John Bailey of Davidson, N.C., was probably flying a Boeing 737 that day, as he does many weekends as a reserve pilot for U.S. Air. It's a dream John had as a youngster, and he pursued it first in the Air Force ROTC at Dartmouth, and then as a McDonnell-Douglas C-124 transport pilot in the air force. He earned his commercial wings earlier with TWA flying out of Chicago, and the Air National Guard in Milwaukee. With their kids nearly grown, Darlene, whom John met at Dartmouth, can take a break from her job as an intensive care R.N. and fly with John to beautiful San Francisco or wherever.

Jeff Galper, the Burlington, Vt., rolfer, continues to be the divorced man's role model. He was featured in a four-color New York Magazine article, and pictured vacationing with his daughter Sarah, her mother, Jeffs current wife Nicandra, his ex-wife Mirian Galper Cohen, her husband Herb Cohen, and Josh Galper, Mirian and Jeffs son.

John Lehman recently married Sharon, an artist he has been dating for a few years. They each have two children. MichaelMoriarty plays an assistant district attorney on "Law and Order," a new highly-acclaimed series Thursday nights on NBC. Paul Binder's Big Apple Circus is in full swing 'til January 6 at New York's Lincoln Center.
