The writer made an unexpected visit to Hanover in November. When I left in June I did not expect to return until my 75th Reunion. However, Ruth Chilcott made a very generous gift to the Medical School and I was asked to address a Medical School group at a dinner given in honor of Ruth. Jim and I were close friends for over 65 years and I told the audience of some of the highlights of his career.

A check around finds various classmates about the same physically, which is pretty good even if not good.
