Four deaths to report: Paul R. Pearson died October 12 suddenly at his home in West Roxbury, Mass.; William R. Carter died October 10 at his home in Wellesley, Mass., after a long illness; Curtis A. Abel died at his Del Ray Beach home on November 28, and we have also learned of the death of Margaret Deiseorh, widow of Paul.

Bunny Levinson called to report that he and Marian attended the Dartmouth-Harvard game, with seats on the 50-yard line, but no other '2sers were in sight. The Sleighs missed the game for the first time in years due to a brief hospital procedure on Betty the day before (fortunately all benign). Scoof Newton attended the Dartmouth-Harvard horse show in Bedford and met with the Dartmouth team, a fine bunch of boys and girls, and they out-pointed Harvard. Bob Weinig was married recently to his long-time friend, Jill Putnam. They were in Hanover for the Holy Cross game and had lunch with Larry and Dot Leavitt and Elly Norris before attending the game. Elly Norris and her hand-bell choir performed at a Bell Fest in Faneuil Hall Square in Boston attended by 65 choirs in November. The dinner for the "Wearers of the Green" held in Boston in October was attended by Scoof and Gertrude Newton and Don and Barbara Hunt. It was a stirring sports review with speeches by Bob Blackman and President Freedman. The invocation was given by Rev. Jim Crawford '5B, son of our classmate, Henry Crawford.Larry and Dot Leavitt attended Homecoming Day at Vermont Academy this fall and were honored by having a new history of the Academy dedicated to them when recendy published.

Thought for the month: The less you talk, the more you are listened to.
