Russ and Judy Hjerpe report from Dallas that son Kent graduated from its Southwestern Medical School and has been interning in ob-gyn at Methodist Hospital there. They are also the proud grandparents of Kent's three-yearold daughter Nikki.

A former Texan, Bob Worthington, now divides his time between teaching journalism at New Mexico State and writing (has over 400 publications). Says Bob: "I have now been a professor of psychiatry, psychology, human services, management, and journalism. Is this a class record?"

Pete Collins is a named partner in Vermont's largest law firm in Burlington, Vt. Son Philip attends Champlain College; daughter Andrea, a 1989 graduate of St. Lawrence University, is a paralegal in Boston; and daughter Kelly is a high school junior who is active in flute and piano competitions and concerts. Now that the children are "more or less self-sufficient," Peter and wife Bernadine hope to spend more time enjoying their avocation, sailing. Of Dartmouth-UVM hockey games in Burlington, Pete says that "discretion is the better part of valor in the cheering department." He says he sees Bill Truex once in a while.

Jerry Scott has been vice president of MIS at Lionel Leisure for the past five years. He ran for the Radnor, Pa., school board, largely because of his feeling that "teachers' unions have no concept of fiscal responsibility." He and wife Jane are officially "empty nesters" now. Younger daughter Susan (a 1989 honors graduate in music at Colby) is a part of the New Jersey Symphony's management team. Elder daughter Debbie, a 1987 Brown graduate, is a staff member of Campus Crusade for Christ at M.I.T. The family vacationed together in Hawaii for two weeks, and Jerry and Jane celebrated 25 years of marriage with a trip to Europe. Jerry sees Rick Francis once in a while, and reports that Rick is a senior partner in the Pittsburgh law firm of Meyer, Unkovic and Scott, where he heads the litigation department and is a member of the firm's executive committee.

Dave Lawrence, is the district manager for Cardinal Retirement Management Group, supervising retirement communities in Michigan and Ohio. Dave and Hazel have been enjoying their summers at their cottage near Interlochen, Mich., to which he cordially invites classmates.

J. Clarence "Terry" Davies was nominated by President Bush to be assistant administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency for Policy, Planning and Evaluation, and was confirmed by the Senate last July. He says he enjoys "dealing with global climate change, pollution prevention, and a lot of other interesting issues."

Joel Kaswell runs the corporate law department in the D.C. firm of Fisher, Wayland, Cooper & Leader, where he specializes in financing and bankruptcy law. He is serious enough about his avocation, Egyptology, to have planned a spring '90 expedition to Egypt—no doubt to add to his collection of antiquities. He saw LesLarsen in New York recently.

Dave Allen attended Greg "Doc"Kane's wedding to Linda Wakefield in Boston last July, where he saw Jim Penza and Mike Nolen.
