The last weekend in April found me enjoying a Class Officers Weekend mini-reunion in Hanover with BobGlovsky, Paul Sehl, AndyCaflrey, and Mark Harty. (Actually, Mark flew by us on his way in and out of both Hanover and Leede Auditorium to present an Alumni Award. I'm not quite sure how he keeps up with himself.) We spent some of Friday picking on Paul for being so conscientious in his Alumni Fund reporting but by now we all owe him a debt of gratitude for his undying energy.

Proctor Page '42, dad to Bob Page and a fellow class secretary, reported the good news of Bob's engagement to Lori Tuck of Reno, Nev. Bob is district geologist for Noranda Exploration in Reno. Bob and Lori will be married Labor Day weekend.

Anne Derry Whidden leaves mid-June with her husband and two daughters for a three-year stay in Hong Kong. Roger will be doing some legal work while Anne will be teaching architecture at the University of Hong Kong where she hopes anyone passing through will stop and say hello.

Paul Ungar dropped a nice note to all of you in early April via my mail box: "I'm now a partner in the midtown Manhattan law firm of Serling, Rooks & Ungar, concentrating in entertainment law, primarily the music business, but also television, film, and theater work. It's fun I get to hang out with rock stars, etc., (Although I have to put up with comments like 'Look at the old, bald guy!' As for the bald part-Res Ipsa Loquitur [Let the non-lawyers look it up in Black's Law Dictionary!] but, as I'm sure you know, my main function is to kill trees at the photocopier—contracts run over 100 pages times eight copies each, etc. At least we're now ordering recycled stationery so I hope to somewhat redeem myself if and when I reach those pearly gates. Otherwise, I continue to enjoy my family wife Karyn and 18 month-old son Miles. Life goes on can you believe it's 20 years-plus since we first hit the Hanover plain? Amazing!!"

From my perspective, just relaying warm, friendly notes like Paul's makes for a great column. I have a feeling quite a few of you would agree, so please drop me some of what Paul referred to as "fodder" for the column in the omitted introduction to the above letter. I love fodder.
