The 34th Reunion is now history, and, thanks primarily to the great efforts of John and Edie McClintock, a fine one it was! An excellent turnout of classmates, wives, and friends, with the weather most cooperative. A summary of events, etc., with as complete a list as possible of attendees, will be included in the next newsletter. To touch a highlight or two, however, Bob andLiz Poet easily took the long distance prize as they once again journeyed from Fullerton, Calif. Also a most welcome sight after all too many years away were Whitey and SueCampbell from Minnetonka, Minn. Whitey was the best golfer in our Quechee outing tournament. He also was the classmate most closely resembling the appearance and physical condition of his college days!

At the reunion class meeting, presided over for the last time by Gus Gillaugh, the following officers were elected: president, JudHannigan; vice-president, Bob Kimball; secretary, Jim Coleman; treasurer, Ham Bailey; alumni fund head agent, WellesFendrich; newsletter editor, John McClintock; bequest co-chairs, Frank Ettari and Jack Whitman; Alumni Council representative, Dune Fitchet; widows programs chair, Rosemary Marlette; and mini-reunion co-chairs Jack Sayers and Whitey Burnham.

Regarding mini-reunions, note that this fall's will be October 11-12, with Holy Cross the non-homecoming football opponent. '46 will have 12 rooms reserved until September 11 at the Days Inn (formerly the Higbee) in Lebanon on a FCFS basis, as before. Phone 603/448-5070.

A note from Bette Teshner Zeller, DougTeshner's widow, said that she and husband Alan '47 were hoping to make reunions but received a mid-April Peace Corps request to take a three-month assignment in Botswana, Swaziland, and Lesotho, as of May 1. Alan will be the medical officer for Peace Corps volunteers in those three countries.

Harold and Evelyn Plotnick missed reunions as son Adam was receiving his Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Cincinnati. Harold practices dermatology and still teaches two and a half days per week at the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Bryan Battey is moving from Florida to Pennsylvania. He and Jean are happy to be getting closer to Dartmouth, even if their expected new address will be Lebanon, Penn., rather than the Lebanon of "Where o' Where" fame!

Paul Engelhardt did make reunion with Jean after attending daughter Amy's graduation from Yale's Graduate School of Architecture. He has retired from his armored car manufacturing company but has taken on a new job as president of Este Oils, fuel distributors in Cincinnati. Paul also is partici-pating locally in Senior Olympics (over 65 years of age) in swimming, bicycling, and track and field.

As noted earlier, James "Chip" Coleman will be your new secretary and DAM '46 column writer as of the September issue. Fie will greatly appreciate your comments and suggestions, but most of all news of you and yours! His address is 1115 5th Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ 07712.

Thanks—it's been a good five years.
