There was a mini-reunion in Hanover September 19 when Rog and Lolly Bury, Rog's brother Bill '35, Bob and Franchot Long, and Dow Mills met at the Penn game on a brisk fall afternoon for a picnic lunch before the game. The marching band played the familiar tunes, but the cheers had changed. The new freshman class was greeted by the whole assembly. Despite a slow start our team gained momentum and won decisively. After the game we gathered at the Bury home for hospitality then enjoyed dinner at historic Hartness House in Springfield, Vt.
A letter from Kroggie Krogstad accompanied the obituary notice about CharlieHuntley sent him by Charlie's widow, Josephine, from Austin, Texas. Charlie joined our class from his home in Norwich, Vt. He was a self-taught trombone player and member of the marching band in college. His obituary will appear later, as will that of BillWolf, who was with us freshman year.
