Smoke Signals Editor Art "Wilcox, who tells the news of all us classmates, now reports news of himself and Inez. She fell on an icy Greenwich, N.Y., sidewalk, and ten minutes later Art fell in their backyard. Result? Inez has a limp with an injured knee, and Art has a broken left wrist which required a cast. Their intended February trip to Woodstock and Hanover had to be chauffeured by Inez's daughter Karen.

Head Agent George Scott in late January had more than a bad cold or the flu to assure his hospitalization. Whatever it was caused him to lose 15 pounds, which George hopes is permanent. He is now back on track, and all of us can support him in reaching the class $75,000 Alumni Fund goal with prompt and generous giving. Treasurer Ed Raisbeck thanked the class for the Ledyard Bridge birthday greeting and said granddaughter Laura Raisbeck is Phi Beta Kappa at U.C. Berkeley. Then we heard from Ed of Ollie's sudden operation late in January, but she was back home, everything very satisfactory.

Class President Tubba and BarbaraWeymouth, at Kendal at Hanover, report on a videotaped interview with Wendy Libby '92 (Gilford, N.H.), the only Dartmouth student- waitress at Kendal. She has been accepted by Dartmouth Med School. Needing to write a paper for her anthropology course, Wendy chose Tubba and Barb to discuss "aging at a continuing care community."

Secretary Don Norstrand reports that recently a tournament pool game and a onemile walk on trails through the North Hill woods interfered with his attending a lecture on normal aging process.
