Ned Grant's son Newell '64, who's been a thoughtful contributor to this column before, has come across a piece of 1930 Alumni Fund stationery, circa 1938-40 A.D., topped by a Dr. Seuss drawing of "Ye Class Agent at Work." 31 class agents are listed in the margins, headed by Bob Bottome, of whom ten survive: Callaway, Duback,Haffenreffer, Horn, Meyer, Rauch,Scribner, Tiedtke, Wiggin, and Zagat. But suddenly, 41 years out of college, he began hearing from Dave Henderson. Though he couldn't quite remember Dave, nevertheless he gladly, avidly, reported Dave's news again and again, as Dave increasingly stretched his credibility, dropping names and glib comments about prominent visitors, travels, at least two yachts, wife Marge, their spread in Cancun, adventures and misadventures. But it all hit the fan when

Oops! The limit is 350 words, but I'll get back next month with more about Dave.
