"Every little tree seems to whisper Louis . . Spring is upon us and that brings new birth, like the little tike that Eric Allyn and Meg O'Connell Allyn '87 must have by now. Eric and Meg live in Skaneateles, N.Y., where Eric is the head of new business development for the family business. Ninety-eight percent of the business is medical products, and the company was founded by Eric's great-grandfather, which means he is the fourth generation of Allyns to work there. Looks like the latest Allyn has his or her work cut out for her. After graduation, Eric worked as a teacher of computer programming and comparative religion at the American School in Switzerland and graduated from Darden, the business school at the University of Virginia. While back at school, he located the local Collis-type cafes and continued to calm busy eaters with his guitar, as he and MikeMcIvor did for us a few years ago. Mike has since been seen at Tuck after sailing halfway around the world to rid himself of the "I don't want to go to business school like everyone else" blues.

Paul Adornato is also at graduate school- he studies at the MIT center for real estate development. Chandler Lindsley is studying to be a veterinarian. Michael Heintzelman is working on his post-doctorate in life sciences (biology) at Yale.

Wedding bells have recently been heard in the air. Ned Groves is engaged. Kara VanBremen married Jamie Graver, and yet she still managed to have what had to the highest grades at Darden, according to some of her business school compatriots. Laura Gillespie made the New York Times with her engagement announcement. She is planning a September wedding and is a travel representative in New York. Her husband-to-be illustrates children's books. Anne Honan will be married in January of 1993. She is a Tuck graduate and is living in Morristown, N.J., where she works for Warner Lambert on the Cinnaburst and Dentene accounts as assistant product manager. Unfortunately, her groom did not go to the Big Green, nor does he live in Morristown currently—so that is two strikes against him—but Anne will have it all worked out by the time 1993 rolls around.

Kathleen Harris lives in California, where she works for the Bank of Boston's Palo Alto office. Her husband goes to business school at Berserkely. Lauren Geddes, or shall we say Dr. Geddes, is doing her residency in pediatrics in Boston. She married Doug Rothstein in 1990, and he is getting his M.B.A. at M.I.T.

Maureen Murphy has the envious job of working for Titleist. Yes, it's true, she has designed a few golf balls in her time, falling back on the engineering prowess gleaned from her Thayer degree.

Janie Gentry is married and works in Connecticut for General Foods, after having studied for her M.B.A. out in California at UCLA. Also at General Foods is Julie Barker, who got her M.B.A. at Cornell. Janie and Julie work on competing cereals, but in nearby cubicles. And last but not least, Dianne Gokey will be married in June. Currently she lives in D.C. and works in publishing for a non-profit organization.
