I put away my cross-country skis and now, thanks to the 1934 Newsletter, my mailbox sprouted some green mail to help me welcome you to spring. The messages traveled north, east, and west. No surprise, Florida was the biggest source 57 of our 438 mailing list households now have a Florida base, and 16 others have a second home there.

Bill and Mary Barnet made their yearly shift from Albany to Stuart. Bill and JaneDaniells left their Orleans home (intact after that August hurricane) for Nokomis, from where they can attend Sarasota Dartmouth Club events.

May and Bernice Cohen, like Bill andIrja Wilson, were Florida-bound. So were Aland Lee Hine, to St. Petersburg for a visit with son Al III '67. They look forward to celebrating their 50th in August.

The Sulzbachers, Jacksonville-based, catch up with visitors like Bob and AugustaGoodman, down from Virginia to their Deerfield Beach home to play lots of golf. StanSilverman is also officially a Florida resident now, keeping active with TV projects and attending meetings of the Dartmouth Club of Palm Beach.

Andy and Nancy Donaldson went to their Naples home but planned to skip over to Paris and Holland before returning to their Ohio base in time to cheer the Cincy Reds. Other former Buckeyes Dick and Kay Barrett moved successfully to Pebble Beach, Calif., where they have a son, a daughter, and five grandchildren.

Hank and Liz Werner didn't leave New York early enough this winter they probably wish they had before ice on Broadway pulled Liz off her feet and gave her an unwelcome broken hip. She's recovering okay.

Bob and Mary Engelman skied the winter away in Vail, and Gillie Gilmore joined them for a bit before they left to warm up with a Club Med week in Nassau.

Not all winter trips south are to Florida. Sam and Marianna McCray cruised down to Buenos Aires, and Bernie and DorothyCushman made their winter trip to Egypt. Then, after some arbitration work for Bernie, they're off to California. Some, like Ethelynand Roy Rather, find all sorts of interesting places right near their Texas home.

Happy Spring!
