Last month the Alumni Magazine saw us through our freshman year, and now we start the 64th year since we arrived in Hanover. Dave Luck is still publishing books—his eighth came out early this year. He and Adele passed their 51st year of marriage and are grateful now to be greatgrandparents. Our longtime Middletown, Ky., residents Bob and Nancy Lindstedt are another '34 couple with 51 years of marriage—and lo! Their son Tom, in nearby Cincinnati, recently found a daughter-in-law for them.
Randy Klinefelter says he and Isabel find lots of community activities at their Ephra- ta, Pa., home and also on their island in lower Chesapeake Bay. The Arne Yensens enjoy their Advance, N.C., home but found Disney World a great place to celebrate their son's 40th, with grandchildren. This fall Arne and Lucile will cruise on the Mississippi Queen from Pittsburgh to St. Louis. I hope the river is friendly by now.
Chagrin Falls is still home for Laura Heath, but her Florida stays will now be in the Naples area instead of Stuart. Bo Allabough moved from her Wycoff, N.J., house to a condo and finds it a big change. With a granddaughter in the class of '94, she is sure to be back for our 60th.
Jim Walter, our Canadian alumnus, plans to join us for our 60th. And our other Canadian resident, Margaret Wildman, hopes also to make the reunion—maybe she will win the longest-distance prize, since she is way out in Vancouver.
Stan Neill is still active in the raw-wool business in Boston. He keeps close track of his grandson at Denison University and his granddaughter, a high-school senior and captain of soccer and basketball—maybe a Dartmouth candidate?
Al and Claire Cotton migrate up the Atlantic from Florida to Maine for summers but promise to detour via New Hampshire for our 60th.
Many of us enjoy unusual hobbies, but how many would travel from Maine to Cleveland to Maryland to Ontario, as Morton and Evelyn Foster did this summer, to attend matchcover swapfests? That's one way to cope with senior citizen priorities!
Wherever you are, keep our 60th on your calendar.
