As they say, too much is never enough. The mail bag is overloaded this month, so if I don't get to it all you'll just have to stay tuned. First off, Hank Malin, who is deeply honored to be chair of the reunion committee, has asked me to let all '82s know that our second major event will be June 18-20, 1993, and we will have the pleasure of lording over the classes of '83 and '84. Anyone interested in helping out with the arrangements should give Hank a call at his new place of employment, the Admissions Office at the Tuck School, (603) 646-3162. Good Luck, Hank, we're all counting on you.

Now onto the massive mailbag of misinformation which is cluttering my desk.

The poison PC of Peter Moran brings us news from Redlands, Calif. Here are a few of Peter s coast to coast snapshots condensed in my best Reader's Digest fashion.

Sandy Kelsey human medicine in Hanover, veterinary medicine in Lyme. "He told me some gross and graphic tales about cow internals."

Kathy "Disco" Briscoe commercial realestate developer/magnate in greater L.A. "I had to get through two secretaries to get to her."

John King in D.C. with his wife and three red-headed kids."John is reportedly almost fluent in Chinese and is assisting in negotiations between the State Department and 50 Chinese dissidents who have remained in the U.S."

Eric Einhorn practicing animal rights law in the Bay area. "Only recently joined our graduating class by fulfilling his language requirement. He had reportedly earned a law degree before getting his Dartmouth diploma."

Peter Feer leading a double life in Boulder, Colo. "By day he works for a small stock brokerage. By night he continues to sing and play with his band, 6Los Pedros."

Malcolm Robinson living the happy suburban Connecticut lifestyle and working out shoe-production details with a company in Maine. "After fizzling in a foray into film he apparently put his artistic talents to use and designed a fashion slush bootie, targeted at women negotiating the slick and sloppy winter streets in N.Y.C."

Dave Britton working for Microsoft in Europe and living in Paris with his "fantastic" native wife Sylvaine. "She was quite hospitable to us but kept barking things at Dave that my French 3 couldn't keep up with."

Peter Moran—marketing for a computermapping software company and working weekends as a heli-ski guide in the nearby Sierra Nevada. "I bought a nice house in an old orange grove but am still missing a good dog and permanent mate."

Thanks for the update Pete, and which are you looking for now—the dog or the mate?

Martha Hill Gaskill also wrote of her most recent adventures; "Craig and I spent three and a half months last fall traveling through Thailand, Nepal, and New Zealand. We had such a great time we didn't want to come back! Nepal was by far our favorite place, and we hope to return soon. We organized a 22-day trek through the Khumbu (Everest) region with friends of ours from Colorado, Nevada, and Alaska. The scenery was spectacular, the food excellent, great weather, and a wonderful group of people, both American and Nepalese, to hike and camp with. We climbed Gokyo Ri (12,800'), Cho Pass (17,900'), Awi Peak (18,000'), and Kongma La (18,200'). The Sherpas believe I am the first amputee in the world to climb any of those on one leg and crutches. Although the air was thin and the climbs challenging, I managed to reach summits within an hour of the rest of our group. (Not counting the Sherpas, who can run up these peaks without panting.)

"In April I was elected to the U.S.Ski Association Board of Directors. It is truly an honor and commitment since we discuss and vote on every aspect of skiing: Alpine, Nordic, Nordic Jumping, Nordic Combined,' Freestyle, Disabled, Masters, Recreational, and perhaps soon Snowboarding as well!

I do have one more letter on my desk, but it is so jam-packed with news from Brook Tolley Comfort that I'll have to hold it for a few more weeks. Just a little something to look forward to.

See ya!
