Chance

A TWO-YEAR, $300,000 grant from the National Science Foundation is helping support an experimental math and statistics course called "Chance," in which undergraduates apply principles of probability and statistics to current events. The development of Chance, brainchild of Math Professor J. Laurie Snell, now involves seven other colleges and universities.
