Last November the legal division of Pittsburgh/Tri- State Israel Bonds honored Chuck Cohen for his work in Jewish and civic affairs in the Steel City area. Chuck is on the board of directors of the United Jewish Federation and the Riverview Center for Jewish Seniors; he is also a director of the Central Blood Bank of Pittsburgh and of that city's Eye & Ear Institute. The rest of the story? Chuck's wife, Amy, keeps him on the straight and narrow . . . sort of.
On the straight and narrow road to poverty, Ted Lind is putting two more children through Dartmouth. Daughter Chris Ann graduated in 1988; son Peter is a senior and captain of the Big D volleyball team; and son Jonathan is approaching the Camp Dartmouth stage of his Hanover experience. Time for Tuck School, Chris Ann?
Time for retirement for Steve Wiener, who hung up his legal spurs after 17 years of practice in the Los Angeles area. Steve and Marilyn plan to sail the globe on their Norseman 447 (is that the ship's length or the amount of the monthly payments?) just as soon as the ship and crew are ready. Steve is working on his second novel. The main character is Steve Blessing, who deals with murder, sex, and a burned-out legal career.
