Ted Truex writes from Wethersfield, Conn., "My loving Ruth and I are physically active and keep busy in the fields of the elderly, nursing homes, health, and the church." They have been retired for 18 years; he from medical practice, she from state politics. Ted plays tennis for two hours three times a week and teaches wood carving. They have four children. One son is an internist, the other is a computer engineer (a Thayer school graduate), and both daughters have advanced degrees. There are 15 grandchildren, which may be a class record.
Alberta Gerould, widow of our distinguished classmate Al, writes from Portland, Ore., "I cherish memories of Dartmouth's countryside and of the great people I met by being a Mrs. '32." She is preparing to microfiche the Bull Run Interest Group's documents. The Bull Run and Little Sandy are in Portland's watershed.
Don Allen, from historic Seneca Falls, N.Y., chides us for having a lousy map. We reported in a recent column that we couldn't find New Seabury, Mass. But we looked again, Don, and there it was. "The fault, dear Brutus, lies not in our maps, but in our selves ..." (with apologies to Wm. S.). Don recently completed the seventh edition of the Indonesian Science Dictionary—380 pages and 22,000 terms on a single floppy disk!
It is with'great sadness that we report the deaths of Thomas B. Curtis and Irving W. Kramer.
