1921

The class of 1921 will be saddened to learn of the death of Ort and Lois Hicks's daughter Caryl Hicks Clark on May 10 after a brief illness at her home in Pinehurst, N.C. She lived for many years in Norwich, Vt. Among her numerous activities in the Upper Valley were the preservation of Webster Cottage in Hanover (she was its first curator), the design and development of the Willow Spring condominiums in Hanover, and co-founding the Arthritis Benefit in 1971. A memorial service was held on May 22 at The Church of Christ in Hanover

We have received word of the death of Sherman Furber Haight on April 28 in Taos, N.M. His wife pre-deceased him. He was active over the years as class agent, class executive committee member, and vice president for 1921.
