Save this date! Join Dartmouth College in celebrating the dedication of the Lansing Porter Moore Theater at the Hopkins Center on Friday, November 11, 1994. The major renovation project involving Center Theater (to be renamed in honor of Lanny), the Top of the Hop, and Center Theater Lobby began in May and was made possible by a gift from the late FloMoore, widow of Lanny Moore. The seating is being changed, and the hydraulic forestage elevator is being replaced with technology's latest and more reliable—a spiral lift. It's a concept similar to that of a "slinky" toy. Major electrical renovations will result as well.

Pat Olson recently moved from Falls Church, Va., to Westminster at Lake Ridge, Va., where she has continued a second career of painting watercolors. Her work is exhibited in the permanent collection at the National Hospital for Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation. Both her sculptures and watercolors have won numerous awards in Northern Virginia art shows. When Pat completed a career of 29 years with the Central Intelligence Agency, she was awarded a certificate for outstanding performance of duty.

You can help Dartmouth athletic teams compete in the Ivy League by joining the Dartmouth Athletic Sponsor Program to give Dartmouth coaches the recruiting edge. Seventy-six talented student-athletes in the class of 1998 were brought to the campus on sponsored reruiting visits. Many of us are sponsors, and you can join by sending a check for $100 to the Dartmouth Athletic Sponsor Program, 6083 Alumni Gym, Hanover, NH 03755.

I recommend to you Adventures in Photography by a friend of mine, Fred Stockwell '43. The photos of Dartmouth, New Hampshire, the Alps, Nepal, and birds are outstanding. With Christmas coming soon, it's a great gift idea and is available at the Dartmouth Bookstore in Hanover.
