The Rolling Stones were recently in town on their "Voodoo Lounge" tour. I showed up at a Sunday night concert holding tickets for "great seats" I had carefully ordered months earlier, only to discover that binoculars were required to see the stage. Undaunted, the next day I managed to get tickets in the 15th row for Monday night's concert. If you haven't seen this show, it's their best yet. If you can get tickets near the stage, it's an unforgettable experience.

More reunion news. Blair Andrew is still living in Baltimore, practicing radiology as a member of a group practice. After graduating from Dartmouth, Blair joined the navy for nine months, training to become a navy pilot. He had a change of heart, enrolled in pre-med courses at Ohio State, and went on to become a radiologist. Blair married Noreen, a public-interest lawyer, in 1991. Blair has a ten-year-old daughter, Colleen, from a previous marriage.

I also talked with Pete and Mary JoSorensen. Pete attended our 20th Reunion, his first time back since our Fifth. After graduation Pete returned to California, where he started working with the Zischke organization, an actuarial firm. Pete worked there 13 years doing actuarial work, consulting, and new business development. After a brief stint at Buck Consultants, where he did defined- contribution consulting, he joined Wells Fargo Bank, where he has created and set up a new business product. Along the way Pete earned an M.B.A. in finance from Berkeley night school. Pete met his wife, Mary Jo, in 1976 and married her in 1979. Mary Jo was formerly a dental hygienist and is currently a homemaker. The Sorensens live in Mill Valley, Calif., with their two children, Katie 11 and Daniel 8.

Therese Yienger Israel was a fellow history major at Dartmouth. She met Michael Israel on a Club Med vacation, and they got married in 1981. Therese worked at IBM for ten years and is now a homemaker. Michael works in hospital administration. In December 1993 the Israels moved from Houston to Chapel Hill, N.C., home of Duke University. They have two boys and one girl.

I was also delighted to catch up with Terryand Cynthia Mulliken. Terry is changing careers. After working in the restaurant business for 15 years, followed by a four-year stint working for the Commonwealth of Kentucky in human resources, Terry is now in law school at the University of Louisville and loving it. Terry was, no doubt, inspired by Cynthia, who has her own law firm, doing family practice and personal-injury law. This is one accomplished woman—she has an M.B.A. on top of her J.D. Terry and Cynthia got married in 1979 and currently live in Pikeville, Ky. They have two children, Clarissa 11 and Evan 8.

Curt Beck runs his own business as an orthodontist in New Fairfield, Conn. He earned his dental degree at U-Penn and then did orthodonture specialty and an additional M.S.D. at the University of Connecticut. Curt is still a bachelor and enjoys living on a lake, skiing, and collecting antique cars.

Since it is October, it seems appropriate to remind those classmates running in various elections on November 8 to be sure and post me on the outcomes. Rick White is running for Congress in the First Congressional District of Washington State. Tom Foley is running for lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania along with gubernatorial candidate Mark Single.

That's it for now. Remember to call or write.
