Pledge Early

The 1994 Alumni Fund is celebrating its 80th anniversary by changing what counts in its annual results. Beginning this year, only gifts and pledge payments made by June 30 will count toward class totals. According to Stan Colla '66, vice president for development and alumni affairs, this change was made to improve the timeliness of the Alumni Fund's cash support of the College budget. "This change will require some getting used to," said Colla, "but when people understand how important this is to Dartmouth's financial health, I'm confident they will support it."
