Spring is approaching, and many of us are slowly thawing out after an Arctic winter, savoring those memories of our spring vacations just long enough for summer to arrive. A little reminder—send news of your vacations and activities this past winter so we can all keep in touch.
Well, one world traveler, Max Saenger, has had an incredible vacation no one could cram into a week away from work. As Max reports in his neatly written and diagrammed letter, he has traveled the world in a few months. Max, I wish I had had the diagrams in your letter when I was in seventh-grade geography. Max spent the end of September in Singapore and Indonesia, then on to Peninsular Malaysia, Thailand, and Nepal. Max speaks of the religion of die area, and says "there is no place in the world like Nepal."
Back here in the U.S., news is not as voluminous or plentiful. On the East Coast, DavidMcCusker has joined the staff of the Brooks School in North Andover. David will direct the school's annual fund. He lives in Derry, N.H., with his wife, Stephanie SolmsMcCusker, and son Colin Brodie.
Until next time, enjoy the spring.
