Barry Caldwell is working in Washington, D.C., as the chief of staff for Pennsylvania Republican Senator Arlen Specter. No doubt Barry is shouldering a lot of responsibility in D.C., since Specter is running for President and graced the rubber-chicken circuit in lowa and New Hampshire this summer.

Not far from Barry on Capitol Hill is Bobby Charles. Bobby is the chief counsel for the House Subcommittee on National Security, International Security, and Criminal Justice.

Kathy Delisle Patterson is living in Medfield, Mass., with her husband, Rich, and their first child, Kevin, who weighed in at more than ten pounds at birth in February.

Becky Forbes, lacking anything of interest to do in her hometown of Anchorage, set out on a trip around the world last September. She has been heard from in Europe and Africa and was due back in Alaska this summer. Upon her return she planned to embark in her career in special-needs education.

After getting stoned oooppps, excuse me after studying stones and obtaining a Ph.D. in geology in Colorado, Peter Folger is now on a geology fellowship in Washington, D.C.

John Idzik is busy these days working for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. When he's not worrying about urine/drug test results for first-round draft picks, he and his wife are busy caring for their two boys and recently born twin daughters!

More news from the stork. Paula and Tom Lane announced the birth of Connor Paul Lane who was born on November 30, 1994. Connor joins Tom III who is three years old. "Lansie" is working as a trial attorney with the firm of Gallagher and Gallagher in Boston. The Lanes reside in Milton, Mass. Tom informs me that Ray Murphy and his wife, Beth, have a one-year-old boy, Cameron. Murph is a real-estate lawyer with the Boston firm of Palmer and Dodge.

John "Tex" Strawn and wife Allyson announced the birth of their daughter Emory on January 21. Emory has already perfected the reverse two-handed slam.

And finally, Emily Bakemeier and her husband, Alain, are living in Princeton, N.J. Emily is working on her art-history Ph.D. dissertation on 16th and 17th-century French portraits.
