When I was a small kid in Denver, I lived on a street called "Galapagos." That was after an Indian tribe of that name. I found out my street was one of a long list of Indian tribe-named streets, all the way from beginning with "A" clear to beginning with "Z." They were from Acoma, Bannock, and Cherokee, clear to Navajo and Osage, and then to Yuma and Zuni. Most of those 26 streets are still called by their Indian names. Any questions? Write.
