Three classes at Dartmouth have 1937 grandchild representatives, all girls. Diane Bullen '98 is the granddaughter of Halsey andSally Bullen; Anna Schecter '98 is the granddaughter of Stan and ConnieBerenson; Marissa Bassett '97 is the granddaughter of Chuck and Mary Bassett; and Shandra Stanley '96 is the granddaughter of Furm and Mary Stanley.
At the mini-reunion, President Russ Sterns announced the appointment of the duo of Charlie Blaisdell and John Johannessen as co-chairmen of the 60th Reunion in June 1967. The date of the 1995 mini-reunion is September 29-30. The football game is with Cornell, which is the first home game. Put these two important dates on your schedule.
Last summer, while many of us were golfing or vacationing in various ways, Crawfand Eileen Hinman embarked on April 17 on a 13,000-mile automobile odyssey throughout the United States. In addition to enjoying the scenery of the Grand Canyon, Santa Fe, and Sonoma, they called on Dartmouth classmates. Crawf visited with Lucille Thirlby in Traverse City, Mich. Dick Thirlby, who died in February 1994, and Crawf were classmates at Harvard .Medical School. In Portland, Ore., he reuned with Dot and BillThomas, another Harvard Med classmate. Park and Jackie Johnson showed them the wonders of Santa Barbara, Big Sur, Carmel, and the wine country.
The significant contributions to Dartmouth by the 1937 class were recognized for the second time in a year when the LansingPorter Moore Theater was dedicated with respect and appreciation to Flo .Moore for her generosity.
Her gift of $2 million to the Will To Excel Campaign made the renovation of the former Center Theater possible.
Our class was represented at the dedication by President Russ and Lee Stearns, Ben andMarge Doran, Fran and Mary Fenn, and secretary Carl Erdman.
