The good news is first. Class Agent Fran Fenn reports that our class exceeded its $95,000 goal for the 1996 Alumni Fund by more than $11,000, with $106,203 total "cash in." Congratulations to Frank, the regional agents and the memorial gift coordinator, Jane Handrahan.

Walter Heer writes that he hopes to attend the 60th Reunion on June 9-11, 1997, despite the fact that he is somewhat handicapped with Parkinson's and arthritis. While Walt and Ginny reside in Sun City Center, Fla., they are spending the summer in Columbus, Ohio.

A letter from Phyllis Swain, Phil's wife, says Phil has been waging a valiant battle with Parkinson's disease for three years. Phyllis is participating in a national Walk A-Thon for Parkinson's research funds on August 25th.
