Executive committee member Bob Stopford Boca Raton, Fla., took a little time to call me to see if I would answer the phone. Bob sounds good, and his health continues pretty much the same.

Kier Boyd, Pittsburgh, Pa., wrote to make sure all was well and found my health to be improving. Kier says that a tax-deductible life-income gift to Dartmouth can provide income to an alumnus and his wife for life and help fund a College project of the donor's choice.

Hank Lamb, Freeman, N.H., survived the mild winter. Still, after his four years in Hanover and some alumni years in the North Country, he takes newspaper announcements that spring starts March 20 with a grain of salt.

Ed Emerson, Norwich, Vt., has traveled to family homes in North Carolina and California and recently visited Saint Thomas in the Caribbean to find some warmth.

George Snell, Bar Harbor, Maine, was sorry to report that Rhoda Carson, his wife of 58 years, died January 7 after several years of failing health. George has recently completed a book, Our Earth is Special Let UsBuild a Society to Match. A publisher is being sought.
