40 Although many of you may be great-grandfathers, the only one who has owned up to it in recent months is Jay Weinberg. He is very proud of the tiny Grace Duvall Shipton.
Benjamin Baldwin, a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, majored in psychology and graduated with us. Except for a note that he was working in June 1942 in Ravenna Ordnance Plant in Ohio, his name has not appeared on any records since that time. Does anyone know of him? War service, occupation, residence?
Martha and Fran Imo will be absent from the 55th Reunion because of a conflict with a graduate-degree presentation to one of their daughters. They're hoping to make the 60th, however.
Pattie and Bill Squire regret that Bill's Parkinson's is so restricting that they will not make the reunion—for the first time ever. They plan to be thinking of their old friends, and they will be in our thoughts too.
In October Bill Halsey had a bad spill on a wet log and ripped his right knee ligament. Something like that might slow down the ordinary human, but not Bill, who expects to be jumping and jiving at the reunion.
We enjoyed a day in Cambridge at the Dartmouth Alumni Seminar on Russia and lunch with JoeBurnett, StetWhitcher, and Howie Stockwell. Only Howie's calendar is so jammed up that he will have to miss the great 55 th.
