Bill Rodgers is married to a Cornell grad named Yana, and the two finished their Ph.D.s in economics together at Harvard in 1993. They also decided to work together at the College of William and Mary, where they have two tenure-track positions in the Economics Department. Bill also gets the Claim to Fame Award this month. He made his debut on C-Span recently, where he was seen testifying in front of the Joint Economic Committee on the minimum wage with fellow alum Secretary of Labor Robert Reich '68. Next year Bill will be taking a one-year leave to work in Reich's office as an assistant to the chief economist. He will then return to William and Mary.

Rob Bilodeau is enjoying life in Shanghai, China, where he manages the manufacturing operations for Mundi Leather Goods. He invites anyone who visits China to look him up, and he reports that Sam Kinney is living in Sewickley and has left McKinsey to start his own consulting firm. Also from Rob, John Elliott lives in New York City and works for Autotote. I received this e-mail from Jonathan
Housum: "After some excellent backcountry skiing on and around Vermont's Mt. Mansfield, Bruce Chafee Kim Spaulding and myself stopped in Hanover for a quick Dartmouth visit. We went up Baker Tower (open for Winter Carnival), checked out snow sculptures (a very lean year in that department), checked our HBs, and went in the newly renovated Collis Center, which we recommend highly. The building and spaces are great, and the baked goods are as delicious and caloric as we remembered. Signs of the times: inside the new Collis are an ATM, a FedEx mailbox, and many public Macs for the ubiquitous Blitz Mail."
That's all for now. Please note my new address.
