Well, I think Cupid must have his little arrow aimed directly at the class of '94 these days, because it seems like '94s all over the place are gettin hitched! You may want to keep this column handy as your 1995 Wedding Guide so you'll remember who you can and cannot scope at the Fifth Reunion. Here is my list of the chapel-bound:
Mike Stodghill wrote in to announce his Valentine's Day engagement to Lynn Gilgut. The wedding was scheduled for August 19 in College Park, Md. Lynn is pursuing her master's degree in aerospace engineering at the University of Maryland in College Park on a National Need Fellowship, and spends her free time flying with the Maryland Wing of Civil Air Patrol. Mike has just finished his first year of law school at the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore. He spent some free time (what little he had of it) volunteering at the Maryland ACLU and doing antidiscrimination testing for Baltimore Neigh-borhoods Inc., a non-profit devoted to fair housing and landlord-tenant issues.
Halicue Gambrell is also engaged to a fellow classmate, Josh Hanna "He popped the question while we were on a skiing trip in Breckenridge Colo., this March," writes Halicue. "The big event will take place on the Saturday after this Thanksgiving on the island of St. Nevis in the Caribbean! Who says the D-Plan ruins relationships?!"
Andrea Fiorentino is recently engaged to Rob Liebross '91. Andrea has been working this past year at an advertising agency in New York City while Rob finished his last year of med school at NYU. But love and Rob's residency are sweeping them far away from Manhattan to Houston, Texas. The newlyweds will settle there after their June 1, 1996, wedding to be held in Boston.
Liz Berger and Jordan Friedman are soon to be wed and soon to be relocating to Germany, last I heard. I've also heard from the newsletter grapevine (which you've probably received by now) about the engagements of Ross Nova and Eileen Yingst '9-2, LizDirks and Mike Fauerbach '93, Bryce Hundley and Alicia Walker '93, and John Gray and HTH Tina Bromley. There may be many more of you out there, but of course we'll never know unless you write. So please drop me a line, and I'll be sure to include your resignation from singlehood in the next class wedding issue. And for those who have not yet been struck by Cupid's D'94 arrow, I have only one word of advice for you: "Duck!" Oh, just kidding, of course. Let love rule.
Thanks for all the mail, everyone. I have lots more to tell, but you'll just have to wait another month. Take care and keep me posted.
