As we write this in the (peak of summer we once again can report that we have passed another month since our last column, without the report of a single death within the class of '39.

We received a nice note from BobNorth in response to a birthday card. He wrote from 12 Country Club Dr., West Simsbury, CT. However, the burden of his message was that he was moving out, which he did in July. Since losing his wife 15 years ago, Bob says his digs were just too big, and so he was struggling to empty rooms, closets, etc., and at the time, wondering what in the world to do with all the stuff. He can now be reached at the home of his daughter at 2 Christmas Tree Hill, Canton, CT 06019. He manages to keep busy a couple of days a week by working at the New England Air Museum, which he suggests, preserves his sanity.

Math and I had a fine dinner way back in late June at a posh Berkshire eatery with Wally and Gail Davis, and Wall's brother Les '41 and wife Linda.

A brief note from Joyce Hine, Tom's widow, reports that she has sold her house. Too many memories. She moved on August 16 to 44 Mountain Brook Road, West Hartford, CT 06117. "I like your news so much that I'll just have to send you my change of address," says AnneDavidson, Alan's widow. Anne moved into a small house in New Bern, N.C., which received an early test of its sturdiness via a blast from Hurricane Bertha. Anne reports the house withstood the onslaught admirably. Her address is 3009 Olde Towne Place, New Bern, NC 28562.

Still on the distaff side, we heard from Betty Bradley, Lou's widow, stating that she has remarried, to a long time friend, Graham T. Hassard. He was the executive vice president of Farrel Corp., where Lou had plied his trade over his working years. The couple will be at 7 Deer Meadow Lane, Brewster, MA 02631, in the summers and Naples, Fla., in the winter months.
