Our 70th Reunion was very impressive. Present were Chuck Baker, Roger Bury,Lee Gore, Bob Long, and Bill Laighton, accompanied by 21 relatives and widows.

At the memorial services at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Chuck Baker read the names of the 29 classmates who had died since our 65th Reunion At the class meeting, greetings were noted from many who were not able to be present. A visit to the Dartmouth Pine, which 1927 had brought from Vermont and had planted in the Bema many years ago, found the large tree to be standing stately and growing nicely. The stone on which we broke our clay pipes at its dedication remains.

Dick's House, the beautiful clinic which was given by the E. K. Hall family in memory of their son, Dick Hall, continues to serve the health of the student. Dr. John Turco, who manages Dick's House, was the speaker at our Reunion banquet.

Gordon Colby reported that with the help of Allice Wormser the class had exceeded its goal in the Alumni Fund, thanks to the generosity of the widows. The treasurer's report showed there was a deficit of $675, due to the fact that the AlumniMagazine was sent to all classmates. It was decided to send the magazine only to those who paid their dues of $20 per year. Class officers are president, Roger Bury; treasurer, Stewart Ensinger; and secretary, RuthBaker Mills, Dow's widow.
