The 1954 Dartmouth New Jersey Golf Open was held at Baltisrol Country Club in July. Qualifying were Tom Sayles, Bob Berry (the "Grizzly Veterans"), Peter Kenyon and Don Berlin; everyone finished (walking); somebody won.
Congratulations to Dick Lewis for another great job. The class surpassed its goal, set a new Reunion class record (71-percent participation).
Dave Mandelbaum has "stepped down as chair of the nominating committee of the Alumni Council. The committee chooses all council officers, nominates the at-large members, members of all standing committees, and alumni Trustees. The class holiday gathering will be held in New York as usual, but is also expanding to Boston. More to follow.
Don Berlin's son, Geoffrey '84, was married to Delphine Eyraud on August 23 in Provence, France.
