In keeping with the spirit of this issue, focusing on the accomplishments of Dartmouth alumnae, I chose this month to Biighlight some of our own classmates whose accomplishments include being among the first women graduates of the College.

This is not intended to be any kind of "honor roll." It's more like a "roll call" of friends and acquaintances about whom you may not have heard much over the years.

Sue Burt Stetson, married to classmate Steve Stetson, is on the staff of Hartwick College in Oneonta, N.Y., where Steve coaches the football team. Susan BerndtMahoney of Rye, N.Y., works at the Rye Country Day School. Mary Butler is employed by Evergreen in West Lebanon, N.H. Susan Lichtig lives in Highland Park, N.H. Anne Derry Whidder is a NYC resident. Patty Collins lives in New York City and is employed by Doubleday & Co. Inc. Molly Wilder Marrow is on the staff of Edgecombe Community College in Tarboro, N.C.

Jeanne Clinton resides in Berkeley, Calif. Atlanta, Ga., is the home of VickieMarks. Susan Edwards is an astronomy professor at Smith College in North-ampton, Mass. Wanda Hutzel Raines, at last report, worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Arlington, Va. Brenda K. Funchess is a resident of Jackson, Miss.

Mary Allen Stifler lives in Essex Junction, Vt., and works at the Stern Center for Language in Winooski, Vt. Jenny Parser Re lives in New York City and works at Thomas Re & Partners also in NYC. Susan Gordon resides in Palm Beach, Fla. Wanda Johnson Powell lives in Agawan, Mass. Hanover, N.H., is home to Joan Perry Snell. Caren Diefenderfer is a mathematics professor at Hollins College in Roanoke, Va. Debbi WardRoney, married to Jim Roney, uses her doctorate at Juniata College in Huntington, Penn. Val Armento is a public administrator for the City of Sunnyvale, Calif. Donna Bascom lives in NYC and works in the film industry. Janet St. Jean lives in Westfield, Mass.

Has anyone seen or heard from HannahResnik? She is among the College's "missing" as far as address or professional activities are concerned. Kate Stith-Cabranes lives in Bethany, Conn., and teaches at Yale Law School in New Haven. Marie Shaffer works for Travellers International in St. Louis, Mo. Donna Ferretti-Tihalas, my predecessor as class secretary, works at First National Bank of Boston. Debra S.Groisser lives in Short Hills, N.J., and is a member of the Newark law firm of McCarter & English. Karen Fagen White lives in Dunwoody, Ga., and practices law at Zusman, Small & White, P.C., in Atlanta, Ga. When we last heard from Lorna Mills Hill, she was working at the Ujima Theater Cos. in Buffalo, N.Y. HelenKemp Zax works for Associate Judge Rita C. Davidson in Washington, D.C. NancyThatcher resides in Fairlee, Vt.

In this age of electronic mail, let me remind you how easy it still is to send a postcard, the kind with the postage already printed on the front. Pick up a pack of five or ten next time you are at the post office. Send one with your news to me and give the remaining ones to your kids to send a note to grandparents, uncles, aunts, or cousins. A great family project. Everyone loves to get mail!
