If you were looking out the window as I am upon the arctic Vermont land scape, you might well recall poet Hovey's words: "And the snow drifts deep upon the road. Zum—zum—." We're sorry to report the death of classmate Kenneth E. Godfrey on December 29, 1996, at the age of 90. Survivors include a brother, George, a member of the Dartmouth Class of 1930. Donations in Ken's memory may be made to Dartmouth College.

Winter athletics at the College continue to hum along at a busy pace, with perhaps basketball and hockey attracting the most spectators. Both the men's and women's teams are enthusiastic and great fun to watch!
