This issue of DAM should reach us late in May when it will also serve to alert procrastinators among us to help Dave Borkum and his troops do another good job in their efforts on behalf of the Alumni Fund, which closes the 1996-97 campaign on June 30. Also it should remind us of our mini-reunion Cornell game weekend October 3 and 4.

The 1996 alumni directory carries the names of SO classmates for whom mailing addresses are not listed. As of this writing it is not known how many of the 50 are still alive, but listed are 127 living classmates together with their mailing addresses. Charlie Hill reported that in February Ellen and John H. Chamberlin had come from the mainland at Sanibel by excursion boat to visit Charlie in Boca Grande. Charlie plans to attend the 70th reunion of his class at Exeter in May, and I intend to join him there. I doubt if I'll make it to the Exeter 75th or to our 70th because the validity of my renewed Pennsylvania driver's license expires on February 28, 2001.

Sorry to report the 1996 losses of Doug Morris on September 2, of Ernie Moore on November 3, and of Charlie Ryder on December 3; and of Jack Gilmore on January 2, 1997.
