After about four weeks of going through the wringer of the medical industry, I am happy to report that the physical and occupational therapists have restored me to living in my apartment here at this retirement community just in time to write Class Notes for the July/August issue of the Alumni Magazine. Now I must meet the challenge of a tough two-week course given by a local charity to be able to drive my car, or any other automobile, with confidence, otherwise this retirement community will not let me drive on this property. Therefore, I intend to meet that challenge.
I've been lucky in that one of my sons lives with his family nearby because he's been a big help in handling matters like the federal and state income taxes. He's a programmer/analyst with a local firm.
Now I can enjoy our magnificent spring weather with the green grass and my George Patton daffodils.
Sorry I couldn't get geared up to attend our 70th reunion, also to report the loss of John H. Chamberlin.
