Just three months from the day of this writing our 65th will be getting underway. My notes for the September issue of DAM will report, fates willing, on that glorious event.

Somehow my following the events of the current House of Representatives on C-Span led me to incorrectly identify the commander of Chuck O'Neill's WW II OSS unit as Congressman Henry Hyde. This prompted a correction from Chuck, because that commander was another Henry Hyde, an attorney presently living in New York.

I regret having to report the deaths of Line Page, whose work in the field or geology as it pertains to the nuclear age was second to none, and of Baxter Ball, our master salesman; but I can close on the happier note that Bax's widow, Barbara, plans to attend our 65th.
