I'll begin with Tom Molnar's wedding to Karine Satamian in Tuscany in May. Tom met Karine while trading oil for Cargill in Geneva. The ceremony was held in a fourteenth-century church in Certaldo Alto, and the reception was in a medieval hall known as the Bassetto (famoso del mondo!). After traveling to the reception in a horse-drawn cart accompanied by knights in armor, Tom, Karine, and their guests danced to Arabic music with Karine's family and friends from Lebanon and Syria. Festivities featured fire juggling, a bonfire, and flowing champagne under the moonlit sky. Truly enchanting. Tom is finishing his M.B.A. in France at INSEAD. Other guests included Earnest Wotring (practicing law in Houston), Jonathan Risch (in Dallas with Frito-Lay), Quentin Cote and wife Kelly (daughters Claire and Maya stayed with grandma; Quent is at State Street Bank in Boston), Pete Trump (with Microsoft WebTV in Palo Alto, Calif.), and your scribe with wife Elizabeth (now in Andover, Mass., with our son Jackson, managing Wang's network integration and consulting services in New England).

Anne Chmielewski Kushwaha had her second child last July, a daughter named Brooke. Anne and husband Vivek live in Houston. He is an orthopedic spine surgeon in private practice. Anne is finishing her radiology fellowship in breast imaging and working at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

The law office of Sam Braverman is open for business. Sam's core practice areas are criminal law, real estate, and wills, but already has cases in civil forfeiture, personal injury, civil rights, and sexual harassment.

Jennifer Taylor moved from Chicago to Tuxedo Park, a small community west of the Hudson in New York state. Jennifer has "retired" from medical malpractice litigation management for insurance companies and is pursuing her real passion, fitness. She is a personal trainer, fitness program manager, and aerobics instructor at New York's biggest chain of health clubs. She is getting married (yes, she says, "for the second time, as I am an eternal optimist") on August 22 to Bud Hendrick, whom she met in Chicago.

Jennifer's bridesmaids/matrons include Tory Woodin Chavey (practicing law in Hartford with husband Mark '87, with daughter Helen) and Leah Wheelan (mother of Katrina, and a software maven in Chicago). Guests include CharlieWheelan (Ph.D. from Chicago, working for the Economist, writing textbooks and screenplays in his spare time), DanEstabrook (with a startup in Silicon Valley), Rachel Dratch (leaving her comedy run at Second City for more success in LA), Sandra Colley Alme (in Montana with husband, dog, a son, and another baby on the way), Beth Burnside (finishing a residency in radiology at UCSF, marrying Pat Rollins on August 15, and starting a breast cancer fellowship at Stanford this fall), Robin Kass (married, and a neurologist in Florida), Anne Chmielewski kushwaha (see above!), Cherise GlickBransfield (near Boston with daughter Audrey and husband Bobby), BarbaraTurley Marr (in Maine with husband Scott Marr, now a resident in internal medicine at Maine Medical Center, and their child), and Pam Codispoti (working for AMEX and living in Manhattan).

Bill Trattler went to the University of Miami Medical School (as did LarrySpiegelman), and then to the University of Pennsylvania for training in ophthalmology. Next a fellowship in refractive surgery at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Last summer Bill returned to Miami, where he is in private practice performing cataract surgery, corneal transplants, and laser refractive surgery. Neil Friedman is also practicing ophthalmology, but in Phoenix, Ariz. Bill is engaged to Jill Sachson, marketing director for the Miami Humane Society, whom he met in Dallas (wedding this September).
