I don't know about you, but I succumbed to reunion pressure and bought my toddler one of those over-priced but too-cute-to-pass-up green baseball caps with the big "D" on the front. He insists on wearing it every time we leave the house so we may yet get our money's worth... .Yes, our tenth reunion has come and gone, and many of us made the trek to Hanover to see how well (or poorly) we and our classmates have aged. I felt a little older in one respect one brief visit to a fraternity basement and I found myself wondering how I ever managed to breathe while living two floors up during Sophomore Summer.
News of classmates comes from many sources. In addition to e-mail and real mail from fellow '88s, the College sends me news stories and articles culled from publications around the country and overseas which mention members of our class. So which classmate gets the most press, you may be wondering? Mike Remlinger, now pitching for Atlanta.
Mike's move from Cincinnati to Atlanta prompted his most recent press coverage. In the years since he pitched for Dartmouth, Mike has played in 11 cities in the minors and majors, including Phoenix, Calgary, Seattle, and Cincinnati. But, according to The Atlanta Constitution, the move to Atlanta feels different. Mike says he finally feels comfortable in Atlanta. He's glad to "stay in the National League, have the best pitching staff in baseball. Guys you have to work with every day, just watch and learn." Mike is optimistic about his future with Atlanta: "I believe I'm going to pitch as well as I've ever pitched before....lt's not a question of whether I can do it, it's a question of whether I can do it time and time again."

Bill Trattler, M.D., has joined the Internet revolution by starting a website. It is called , and it is a free site for patients to ask questions to doctors. The subjects currently covered are the eye (including the laser surgery to correct near-sightedness, far-sightedness, and astigmatism), plastic and cosmetic surgery, ear-nose-and throat, infectious disease, critical care, and general surgery. The site has over 30 physicians who are actively answering questions, and the people asking the questions are very pleased with the site. Bill realized there was a need for this type of website because so many people have questions about laser eye surgery (which is Bill's specialty), but there were only limited sources of information.
