The Hockey Humanitarian Award Foundation chose Sara Nelson '99 as one of 15 semi-finalists (12 men, three women) for its annual award recognizing deeds and grades. A Rufus Choate

Scholar majoring in biology modified with psychology and premed, Nelson had a GPA of 3.75 and was a presidential research assistant in the psychology department. Her activities included leading freshman D.O.C. trips, giving campus tours, being an undergraduate advisor, and officiating at intramural hockey games.
