Wow can you believe it's May? I've been having wistful memories of sitting on the Green, glad that winter's over. Anyway, an item of business before we get into the "good stuff." I've been told that there is a new URL address for class and club web pages: . Make a mental note. Some nuggets that I picked-up in and around my neighborhood (Villanova, Pa.) include a message from Alie Mann, who says that she spent the first two years after Dartmouth in Dallas, Texas, playing tennis on the International Wheelchair Tennis Circuit and teaching physically and mentally disabled people how to ride horses. The following year she worked for a law firm in Dallas. Not deterred by her legal job experience, she is a first-year at Villanova Law School. She says that school is going well and, although stressful and time consuming; it's well worth the effort. Alie mentioned that she's been in touch with BrookeParry, who is working toward her Ph.D. in forestry at Yale. Brooke is doing well and enjoying school, but looking forward to escaping New Haven. Brian Greenberg moved back to California a year ago and is currently teaching high school. After a year of teaching, he fully appreciates the time and effort needed to be an effective teacher. D.A. Gros is finishing up his last year of medical school at Johns Hopkins. According to Alie, he is looking for an internship in general practice and then hopes to go back for an M.B.A. to pursue health-care management. Last, Alie said to send congratulations to Gonzalo Lira, who published his first novel in the United States. Unfortunately, I don't have the title of the novel apologies!

An anonymous source sent me the scoop on the following individuals: Silla Muelli is currently working as an options trader at Susquehanna Trading in NYC and has been for the past seven months. Hanging with him in NYC is Raman Soobrian, who works as a trader at First Options. Last on the NYC-front, Chris Amerasinghe works at Deloitte & Touche and just received a degree from NYU in economics. MikeGreene is a third-year at Wake Forest Law and is looking for employment in Cincinnati or elsewhere in Ohio. Final note from my source, Steve Bolden is currently in law school in Texas (location unspecified), got married "a year or two ago," and has a daughter named Taylor Rae.

Last bit of Pa. news for those who are not squeemish: Kristen Glass wrote from veterinary school at UPenn, saying that school is excellent and that she spent an afternoon in Kennett Square, Pa. with Ben Brainard '96 and Ray Sweeney '78 castrating pigs. A "good time was had by all" and the trio are planning similar events in the future. Anne Hawk wrote from Washington, D.C., to say that she is living with KristiKimball and Demian Schane '93. Anne has been working at the Lewin Group, a healthcare research and consulting firm. This fall she will be starting med school at UVA. Kristi works for the deputy secretary's office at the U.S. Dept of Ed. She will be going starting at the policy school at Princeton. Anne says that she sees Gina Vetere on a regular basis, as well. Gina is currently working for the National Democratic Institute and she too will be returning to school this fall, attending the international relations school at Columbia. Also in D.C. are Kay Parry and Alicia Abell. Alicia is an editor at Washingtonian Magazine. Finally, Anne writes that Sarah Malloy, who works at Cornerstone Research in NYC, was engaged on Christmas Eve to Peter Millett, a Dartmouth Med School grad who is finishing his residency at Cornell.

Lisa Koestner wrote from Denver, CO to say she is engaged to Jake Mortell '94. They will be married at the end of August 1999 in Arizona. Right now Lisa is working for Kent Denver School in its development and alumni relations office. BrianKurlander, who is living in Chapel Hill, N.C., became engaged and is currently planning a November wedding.

End notes from Beantown: AndySargent is moving back to Boston and will be working as a manager at an advertising agency (no father information was given). Brian Wall is working in Cambridge (okay, it's not exactly Boston) for an Internet company and recently became a life member of the DOC. He is still biking but has no plans for another cross-country bike trip.

Thank you to everyone who wrote to me. See you in June.
