I first called Rube Rubin, who wouldn't admit to any activity whatsoever. So then I called Bert Stern, who admitted he had some limited driving his wife to work. How can anyone be so lucky as to have a wife who works? His wife, Lillian, is a sales lady for high-grade lamps and accessories, as far as I can make out from my, as usual, indecipherable notes...Well, almost indecipherable. Sounds high class and very remunerative. That's good enough for me.
