Spring is wonderful, particularly with the prospect of our 10th Reunion this summer. Al Bildner and Jiggs Fuller and their committee assure us that Hanover will be ready and waiting for us. Reunion Committee Publicity chairman John laniri, 22 Haines Blvd., Port Chester, N. Y., is anxious to add your name to his growing list of reunion prospects, so make your plans final. Then, let him know promptly.

We are glad to hear from Marilyn and Burton Zuckernik of the birth of their son, James Ben, in August, 1956. Our records show him to be their first child and that Burt is vice-president with Palco Chemical Corp., living in Roxbury, Mass.

Your Secretary and his wife are the proud parents of Clifton Marshall Chadwell, the second son and third child. Clifton, weighing nine pounds, was born March 4, in Lafayette, Ind.

Hank Spiers continues as feature writer with the Transcript-Telegram in Holyoke, Mass. He recently addressed the Holyoke Lions Club in the Roger Smith Hotel, Holyoke, concerning a week he spent in Austria in December. He described an "on the spot" investigation of Hungarian refugee camps, and the American airlift of refugees. Hank first joined the Transcript-Telegram in 1951. He left in January 1953 to join the staff of the Bangor, Me., Daily News where he won a prize in the same year for his news writing on slum housing in Bangor. Hank and his wife Anne have two children.

We have a fine letter from Jack "Tex"Jeffus. Jack married the former Anne Smith, Colby Jr. College '48 in 1948 and moved back to his home town of Wichita Falls, Tex., in 1949. Jack and Anne have two children, Marshall 7 and Sandra 3. Jack is Vice-President of the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, the largest bank between Dallas and Denver. He has also been piddling in oil and real estate business with satisfactory results.

Civic wise, Jack has just finished a year as president of the local Kiwanis club and currently serves as treasurer of the Civic Music Association. He is also a member of the Wichita County 4-H Livestock Assn., Republican Party - 23rd District, Vice-chairman of the Wichita Falls Public Housing Authority, and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Aviation Committee. Jack and Anne spent a recent ski vacation at Granby, Colo., where Anne had the misfortune to break her leg during the first day of skiing.

Lee Alexander continues with Travelers Insurance Co. as actuarial analyst, living in Tariffville, Conn. Lee has been with Travelers for the past several years. Dr. Russ Fraser is with the Dept. of English at Princeton University. Russ has been at Duke University for the past three years.

Jack Kevill is a lawyer with the Claims Dept. of the Allstate Insurance Co. Jack is living in Freeport, L. I., N. Y. John "Mai"Mason continues with the Texas Co. as sales representative in Providence, R. I. John has been with the Texas Co. for the past three years, first in Bangor, Me. Maz has a law degree from Boston College, and he and wife Ruth have at least one child.

Dr. Ted Schwartz is a fellow in Ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He formerly interned at the Madison General Hospital in Madison, Wis.
