President Joe Michael has announced that C. Robert Paulson will be the class newsletter editor following Bob Pease's death following a stroke. The class is fortunate to have Bob Paulson as our new editor.

Dave Kendall will have a report for the October meeting of the class executive committee clarifying some of the confusion and concerns expressed at the June class meeting about the Brundage Lodge and class memorials. The Dartmouth Europe Grand Adventure 15-day cruise from Amsterdam to Berlin will have seven '45s: Alberta and Bud Elder, Dottie and Doug Donahue, Rosalie Cutter and Lois and Bob Bull. They should have interesting stories to tell us at our next meeting.

Once again we can be proud of John Leggat. He was recognized by the Greater Lowell Community Foundation as "someone in the community who has worn many hats in a long, distinguished career of outstanding contributions." The list of involvements is even longer than that of the many offices John has occupied for the College and the class.

Treasurer John Osborn writes that, "my children are curtailing my class activities." He says that in addition to family graduations, son David 'BO is taking him to Australia in September to fish for marlin and see some Olympics. His treasurers report will still be in on time.

Everyone should be aware that the College is trying to make e-mail and the Internet all the easier for all to use in contacting classmates and the College. Jan Bent has moved into the job of coordinating that technology. Call her at the College if there are questions.

I hope everyone is pleased with the class photo that was taken in June. Regards!
