With deep sadness, I regret to report that one of our classmates, Arianna Pagani, was killed in a tragic car accident this past summer. Her twin sister Sabrina Pagani has been channeling her positive energy into establishing a memorial fund in Arianna's name. As soon as the fund is set up, I will pass along the information so those of you who would like to donate in memory of Arianna can do so.

Sabrina sent me the following note to express her deep gratitude to everyone who has supported her and her mother during this difficult time:

"I have neglected to thank the myriad of Dartmouth friends and acquaintances who have helped me through this very rough time in my life. As you know, my twin sister Arianna Pagani and my father were both killed in a tragic car accident this past summer. I can't tell you what an incredible outpouring of support came and continues to come from the Dartmouth community. Both my mother and I would like to thank everyone who dropped everything and flew to the wake and funeral ceremonies, as well as all those people who sent letters, flowers and consoling phone messages. I wish that I could run a list of Dartmouth names to personally thank those that have given me the strength to go on, but the list would be unbelievably and joyfully long. So, please extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone in the Dartmouth community. Their kind words and actions have deeply affected me."
