In case any of you are thinking about sending me some news about yourself and other '93s (hint, hint), please note that I will be moving on May 29,1999, so be sure to send your news to my new address after May: 10215 Dickens Court, Bethesda, MD 20814. My husband, George, and I have decided to take the plunge and become homeowners. We are moving closer to Washington, D.C., where I will be starring a job with a law firm in the fall after completing a two-year clerkship with a federal judge here in Baltimore. Also note that I have switched my e-mail address to my home account: .

Okay, enough about me. I heard from David Katz a while back who wrote in after his first quarter at the Anderson School at UCLA where he is pursuing his M.B.A. "It was an incredibly busy 11 weeks, but I loved every minute of it. However, I was seriously mistaken when I thought that I would have a chance to hone my golf skills out here. In addition to classes and several extracurricular activities, the summer job search process seems to eat up a lot of the rest of the free time." David mentioned that there are several other '93s at Anderson including JimmyYoung (in his second year), Allen Ba (in his third year of a J.D.-M.B.A. joint degree program), and Catherine Sellman (in her first year).

Karen (Ehrhardt) Billingslea reports that she and husband, Marshall, are proud new homeowners of a house on Capitol Hill. Marshall works for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee focusing on national security issues and Karen is a school psychologist in the Prince George's County public schools. Karen and Marshall see a lot of Scott Quesenberry, who works for the Republican National Committee. The three went to a party in December in Philadelphia to celebrate Dave Gomez's graduation from Villanova Business School.

Need a good chef? Well you can always call on our own culinary expert, StaceyFrieder, who received her A.A.S. in culinary arts from Johnson and Wales in June 1996 and currently serves as a chef at an upscale catering company in Colorado. Stacey moved to Vail, Colo., in May 1994 and, after dabbling in a few different professions, decided to pursue a long-time interest in attending culinary school. She just completed two years of incredible learning as the sous chef at Splendido in Beaver Creek, an award-winning restaurant in the Vail Valley. The restaurant was featured in the June 1998 issue of the Wine Spectator. Stacey characterizes her job as "a blast but also incredibly difficult." Besides preparing delicious meals for the ski adventurists, Stacey is busy planning her September 1999 wedding to Jay Sapp, whom she met in Vail three years ago. They are in the midst of building a house in Eagle, Colo. (Yes, she and Jay are the general contractors!) Stacey also attended Pam (Kunen) Henes's wedding in August 1997 and was able to catch up with friends, Carrie Carter, Daphne Howard,Pam Bliss, Kira Thomas, and Jen Cohn. Pam Bliss manages to visit Stacey often on her "corporate ski retreats." Finally, Stacey mentioned she was delighted to run into Kaia (Borgen) DuPont and her husband at a party on Christmas Eve last year.

Keep those submissions coming. I'll take anything you've got: wild Mardi Gras stories, spring ski trip reunions, March Madness gatherings, graduate school graduations...
