We are all on the verge of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity—the chance to attend our 25th Reunion, just a few weeks away. We expect our Reunion to be the best-attended 25th in years, with more than 200 classmates back in Hanover. Better yet, we expect a diverse group to come back.
Some of the unusual highlights, just to mention a few, will include: a Mount Moosilauke trip; a showing of the film A River Runs ThroughIt; the premiere of the one-act play TheGood Doctor Seuss, written by BobSullivan; a great concert and dance band; buffet breakfast for '75 women in the Hanover Inn; 1975 class meeting and class picture; a variety of sports and family activities; and a book signing by novelist Caroline Preston. Of course, we'll also all look forward to the obvious—many hours to socialize with old friends. For an update on the latest events and who's coming back, check out the Web site at www.dartmouth7s.org. It is still not too late to sign up. Just call the Reunion Housing Office at (603) 646-3288 to secure housing and Dale Edmunds to make a deposit at (781) 431-9335 (work) or (781) 237-2222 (home).
As a matter of class business, Jim Bildner, class president and chairman of the nominating committee, welcomes hearing from any volunteers interested in serving as class officer for the next five years. Those who are interested, please e-mail Jim at jbildner@tier.com. On a personal note, serving as your class secretary has been inspiring. We have accomplished great things, and it has been my privilege to try and bring this to life through the column. I really hope to see each and every one of you at Reunion. Let's break all the Reunion attendance records by a mile! See you in Hanover.
